ProTrader Swing has new conditions. And swing trading is finally getting the space it deserves
ProTrader Swing has undergone a major transformation. It now offers accounts of up to CZK 5 million, swap-free trading, a balance-based Daily Loss Limit and the option to hold positions over the weekend. See how the new conditions give swing traders more space, greater flexibility and a fairer route to completing a Fintokei challenge.

At Fintokei, we do not like standing still.
We improve our mobile app, speed up payouts, introduce new upgrades and regularly review the conditions of our challenges. We are always looking for ways to create a fairer and more practical trading environment.
This time, we took a closer look at ProTrader Swing. And we changed a few pretty important things.
Specifically, we introduced larger accounts and removed swaps. Add the existing balance-based Daily Loss Limit, no maximum time limit and the option to hold positions over the weekend, and you get a challenge built for swing traders.
The result? Swing trading is no longer just a slower alternative for traders who do not want to watch charts all day. It is a fully fledged route to completing a Fintokei challenge.
Let's take a look at what is new. 👇
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Accounts | $5k to $200,000 |
| Profit Target (Phase 1 | Phase 2) | 8% | 6% |
| Time limit | Min. 3 days – No maximum |
| Daily Loss Limit | -5% (balance-based) |
| Overall Loss Limit | -10% |
| Maximum risk on open positions | -3% |
| Starting performance reward | 80% |
More account sizes, more possibilities
ProTrader Swing is now available in sizes ranging from $5k to $200,000. You can start with a smaller account, test your approach and see how your strategy performs under challenge conditions.
Once you feel more confident, you can move on to a larger account and give your trading more room to grow.
You do not need to chase fast entries or sit in front of your screen all day. ProTrader Swing lets you trade at your own pace and wait for opportunities that genuinely match your plan.

Swap-free trading: your open positions do not lose profit overnight
When you hold a position overnight, you would normally pay a swap fee. In other words, a fee for letting your position "sleep over".
Scalpers and intraday traders do not usually need to worry about this. But when you hold a position for several days or weeks, swap fees can gradually add up and reduce your result.
That is why we have removed them completely from ProTrader Swing.
Your position can now stay open overnight without another swap fee being added each day. You can focus on the trade itself, how it develops and whether it still follows your plan.
No calculating how much another night will cost. No closing a position just because of fees.
Where are swaps normally displayed?
In MetaTrader, you can find them in the instrument specification. Open it using the Ctrl+U shortcut or right-click the symbol and select Specification. You will see the swap values for both long and short positions.
In cTrader, they are shown in the Symbol Details section of the watchlist.
In TradingView, you can find them in the instrument details under the contract specifications.
Payout of $60k arrived within 24 hours. One of the smoothest processes I have encountered with a prop firm. In my experience, this is one of the top prop firms available.

A change that can save you hundreds every week.
Before the conditions changed, a trader holding one standard lot for two weeks could pay hundreds of Czech crowns in swap fees. For some instruments, even more. With ProTrader Swing, this cost has now disappeared from the calculation entirely.
It is only fair to mention the other side too. Without swaps, you cannot use traditional carry trade strategies based on the interest-rate differential between two currencies. According to our data, however, only a small number of traders used these strategies. For most swing trading approaches, this change will be a clear advantage.
Which swing trading strategy should you choose?
The Daily Loss Limit is calculated from balance, so price swings do not threaten your position
This is not a new feature, but it remains one of the biggest advantages. What does it mean in practice?
Imagine you have been holding a trade for several days. A short burst of volatility hits the market and your open position temporarily moves into a loss. Because the Daily Loss Limit is calculated from balance, the movement of the open position alone will not cause you to breach the daily limit.
The result of the trade is reflected in your balance only when you close the position.
This setup is much more natural for swing traders. Short-term fluctuations are simply part of swing trading.
Fintokei tip
A stop loss still belongs in your trading plan. Holding a losing position without a clear plan and hoping the market eventually turns around is not a swing trading strategy. It is gambling.
You have as much time as you need to complete the challenge
Sometimes a quality setup appears within a few days. Other times, you may wait weeks. Forcing you into a trade just because a time limit is approaching would not make sense.
That is why ProTrader Swing has no maximum time limit for completing the challenge.
You can wait for an opportunity that matches your trading plan. No unnecessary rush. No boredom trades. No pressure from a ticking clock.
One important condition still applies. Your account cannot remain inactive for 30 days. If you do not open a single trade during that period, the account will expire. Even with a slower swing trading pace, it is therefore worth keeping an eye on the calendar.
What do Fintokei's best swing traders recommend?
You can hold positions over the weekend
With ProTrader Swing, you do not need to close a running trade on Friday just because the trading week is ending.
You can keep positions open over the weekend.
This gives you more freedom when trading longer-term trends. At the same time, do not forget about the risk of weekend gaps. When the market reopens, the price may continue significantly above or below Friday's closing level.
You should therefore account for this risk when planning your position size, stop loss and overall risk.
More freedom does not mean less responsibility.
Expert Advisors are allowed. But you still need to know what you are doing
You can also use trading robots, or Expert Advisors, on ProTrader Swing.
However, a robot should be an assistant, not a replacement for your own strategy.
It can help you execute trades, manage positions or follow your rules more precisely. But you should still understand how it works, why it opens specific trades and what risks it creates.
Downloading a random robot from the internet and expecting it to complete the challenge for you is not an approach we support.
We want to work with traders who understand their strategy, whether they trade manually or use automation.

1:25 leverage gives swing trading a safer foundation
ProTrader Swing originally offered leverage of 1:100.
Combined with the option to hold positions overnight and over the weekend, however, it created too much room for risk. One major market move or an unexpected gap could quickly put the account in trouble.
That is why we adjusted the leverage to 1:25.
Yes, this means lower maximum exposure. But it also gives you a healthier and more sustainable environment for longer-term trading.
Swing trading is not about opening the largest possible position. It is about patience, quality setups and keeping risk under control.
And leverage of 1:25 is a much better fit for that approach.
Swing trading is no longer the backup option
ProTrader Swing looks completely different today.
You can choose from account sizes ranging from $5k to $200,000. You do not pay swaps. The Daily Loss Limit is calculated from balance. There is no maximum time limit for completing the challenge. You can hold positions overnight and over the weekend, and you can also include trading robots in your strategy.
On top of that, we have introduced leverage that better reflects a longer-term trading style.
All these changes have one goal: to give swing traders the same opportunity to succeed as traders focused on intraday trading or scalping.
