Who We Asked
In total, 2,883 traders filled out our survey. Most of them were beginners or intermediates (less than 2 years of trading). 75% were already Fintokei clients – and among Japanese traders, that number went up to 82%.
And here’s the key: different regions had different needs. Japanese traders asked mainly for more accessibility and speed. Traders from Europe and the rest of the world wanted more instruments and technical improvements.

That one question gave us the clearest insights. We trade ourselves, but sometimes the smartest move is just to ask the community.
Most Common Answer From Japan: Make Challenges More Accessible
What hurt the most? Strict daily loss limits, rules that felt unnecessary, and trading costs that added up quickly. Japanese traders were the loudest here.
So we acted:
- Removed the “3 profitable days with 0.5% gain” rule
- Lifted the ban on Martingale (still risky, but if you can master it, you can show it)
- Launched ProTrader Swing with a softer daily loss limit calculated from balance, not equity
- Introduced zero commissions on indices and oil
The result? Challenges that are fairer and more approachable, yet still remain true challenges.
